I took Josh's blacksmithing 101 class with my 16 year old son. The class was great, it was just three students, so there was plenty of 1 on 1 instruction. Josh did a great job answering questions and teaching the class. We each made a fixed blade knife start to finish. We both really enjoyed the class and I'd recommended it to anyone interested in trying out blacksmithing. ~ Elias Breen

It was some of the best money I ever spent, and one of, if not the best class I’ve ever had. Josh taught us step by step how to create a functional blade that will last. He explained the science behind blacksmithing in a way that was easily absorbed and applied practically . Josh was careful to watch and prevent critical mistakes that would cripple the project. Super nice guy who makes heirloom quality blades himself, but still finds the time to teach aspiring makers. I’ll be going to the next 2 classes offered in the catalog for sure.
